All stallholders must abide by the following:
- The Stallholder must hold a current Public Liability Insurance policy to the value of no less than $20 million and supply a copy of a Certificate of Currency to Council.Ifa Stallholder does not have public liability insurance, an application can be made to purchase temporary coverage through Council. Terms and Conditions apply.
- Indemnity Clause:
The Stallholder agrees to indemnify and to keep indemnified Greater Shepparton City Council, its servants and agents, and each of them from and against all actions, costs, claims, charges, expenses, penalties, demands and damages whatsoever which may be brought or made or claimed against them, or any of them, in connection with the Stallholders performance or purported performance of its obligations under the Agreement and/or which is directly related to the negligent acts, errors or omission of the Stallholder.
The Stallholders liability to indemnify Greater Shepparton City Council shall be reduced proportionally to the extent that any act or omission of Greater Shepparton City Council, contributed to the loss or liability. - An individual and/or business owner is not eligible to be a stallholder if they are:
- Under administration, or
- A person who has a conviction for an indictable offence that is not an expired conviction.
- Bump-in will be available on 10am – 2pm Saturday 13 June and 7am - 9:30am Sunday 14 June.Stalls must set-up during bump-in period to be ready 15 minutes prior to public entry time. Where applicable, vehicles and/or machinery are to be placed in designated stall areas during allocated bump-in time to remain in place for the entirety of the Event. Bump-out can only after all members of the public have left the venue, after public entry time concludes at 4pm Sunday 14 June. Bump out can occur from 4:15pm. Any queries related to bump-in and out must be directed to the Event Organiser.
- Stalls must remain staffed for the duration of the Event. Organisers do not accept responsibility for stalls left unsupervised.
- Facility power supply for machinery or demonstrations may be available with prior approval from Council and within site power supply constraints.
- Vehicle and machinery demonstrations are welcome provided there are no adverse impacts to other exhibitors and/or the safety of attendees, which will be decided at the discretion of the Event Organiser. Queries related to demonstrations should be directed to the Event Organiser.
- Materials for promotional purposes (as part of packages), such as logos and images, must be provided to the Event Organiser no later than 4 May (42 days/6 weeks from the Event).Logo/branding placement on promotional material can only be provided if site payment is confirmed prior to preparation of the promotional items.
- Mandatory specifications for promotional materials are as follows:
- Business Logo
- Images of products/services/business
- High-quality images, minimum width: 800 pixels
- Up to 4 images (we will promote the quantity included in your package)
- 9:16 aspect ratio (portrait), 1080 x 1920 pixels, MP4/MOV format
- Maximum of 30 seconds
- Content must include:
- Your business name
- The focus of your stall
- An invitation to visit your stall ‘at the GV Home Energy Expo on Sun 14 June at the McIntosh Centre, Shepparton’
- Individual promotion of Event participation can begin once the payment has been received and confirmed by Council. Noting that organisations registered as a not-for-profit organisation are eligible for a fully subsidised stall package.
- Organisers do not accept responsibility for loss or damage to goods bought to the venue by exhibitors.
- Council reserves the right to withdraw an organisation’s participation prior to the Event if they deem any breaches to the Terms and Conditions have occurred. Refunds will be processed as applicable and related to the cancellation policy.
- Cancellation Policy – Due to the considerable administration associated with this Event, no refunds will be provided for cancellations submitted 30 days or less before the event. Council will provide a full refund for cancellations submitted more than 30 days before the event. A full refund will be provided if Council elects to postpone or cancel the event. All requests for cancellations must be made in writing to the Event Organiser.
