On Sunday 14 June 2026, Council will host the inaugural Goulburn Valley Home Energy Expo. This is a free public event designed to provide residents and business owners with expert knowledge from industry providers and the latest products to help electrify homes and businesses while reducing energy costs, all in one location.

We’re inviting local businesses, community groups and organisations to showcase innovative products, share expert advice, and connect with motivated customers ready to learn more and upgrade their homes and businesses.

  • Date: Sunday 14 June 2026
  • Time: 10am to 4pm

Council is seeking to host information and demonstration stalls on any of the following topics:

  • Solar PV systems
  • Home batteries and vehicle-to-grid/home solutions
  • Electric vehicles (EVs) and battery powered machinery
  • Home/business electrification -switching heating and cooking to electric
  • Efficient technologies: heat pump hot water, heating/cooling, induction cooking
  • Insulation and weather sealing products and services
  • Home energy efficiency assessments
  • Virtual power plants and community solar/battery systems
  • Health and safety benefits of electrification
  • Support for energy bill relief and government rebates/incentives
