Greater Shepparton City Council has prepared a Local Area Traffic Management Plan (LATM) for the inner north area of Shepparton to improve traffic management and road safety within the area.

The Draft Shepparton Inner North Local Area Traffic Management Plan August 2022 (Draft Shepparton North Inner LATM) is a follow-up study to the Greater Shepparton Secondary College Local Area Traffic Management Plan October 2021 (GSSC LATM) that was undertaken and implemented by Council in late 2021. The Draft Shepparton Inner North LATM provides recommendations to mitigate the traffic, parking and pedestrian problems identified, and to improve pedestrian and cycling connectivity and safety within the area.

Council is undertaking draft consultation between 26 September 2022 and 24 October 2022 with residents, commuters, and students and parents in the area to identify key traffic issues, and to provide feedback on the recommendations for the traffic treatments proposed by the Draft Shepparton Inner North LATM.
