Resilience in Recovery is Greater Shepparton's disaster recovery program that serves, and collaborates with the Greater Shepparton community. Currently, the program is funded by both the Australian and Victorian Governments.

Disaster recovery is not only a process but also an outcome.

The main objectives of the October 2022 flood recovery program are as follows:

• Empower the community to become sustainable and capable of managing its own recovery
• Support the community in building resilience to better withstand future disasters.
