If you answered yes, Greater Shepparton’s FReeZA program, The Music Arts and Culture Committee (The MACC) is for you!

Greater Shepparton City Council has been successful in receiving a grant in the 2022-2024 FReeZA funding round. To deliver the outcomes of this funding a FReeZA Committee will be established and will comprise of young people aged 12-25 who live, work or volunteer in Greater Shepparton. All members will be supported through the provision of training and skill development to stage FReeZA events.

The MACC will plan, run and support safe, youth-friendly events for young people. These events will include a variety of upskilling, cultural, recreational and music events that will be reflective of the interests of young people in our community. All MACC initiatives will provide platforms for youth led action in music, arts and culture and will align with the Greater Shepparton Youth Strategy key focus areas.

Being a part of the FReeZA committee, The MACC, not only provides opportunities for skill development in all things event management but also builds self-confidence, creation and development of professional relationships, and provides opportunities to explore various education and employment pathways in the music and arts industry.

There is no cost to join or to be part of this experience.
