Conversations have commenced for the Council Plan 2025-2029 and we need the community’s help to set priorities and focus areas for the next four years.

We want to hear from those who live, work and play in the Greater Shepparton area. It should only take about 10 minutes to take our survey and answer a few simple questions.

What is the Council Plan?

The Council Plan is developed in conversation with our community and details the vision, goals and strategies to guide Council’s service delivery, activities and decision making over a four year period.

To achieve Council’s Community Vision, Council delivers a number of services and projects detailed in the Council Plan. It is time to develop a new Council Plan and we would like to hear from the Greater Shepparton community about the services, programs and projects that matter to them the most.

In line with the local government election cycle every four years, the process of developing a new Council Plan has now commenced. The next Council Election is scheduled to be held on 26 October 2024.

Council has an integrated planning and reporting framework that connects several plans which can be viewed via the button below. The purpose of this current consultation is to develop a new Council Plan and review and update the following documents:
