Our facilities, infrastructure and living assets
Council owns and manages different types of facilities, infrastructure and living assets in Greater Shepparton. These help Council deliver important services for our community.
Open spaces, buildings, transport and stormwater make up our four main infrastructure assets groups:
Open space areas
includes playing courts and fields, playground sites, trees, open space structures and open space area.Buildings
include child care, senior citizen and community centres, public toilets, pools and shade sails.Transport
includes roads (sealed and unsealed), kerb, pathways, bridges, culverts, traffic management devices, carparks, and road line-markings.Stormwater
includes stormwater drains and pits, pumps, penstocks, gross pollutant traps, litter traps and drainage basins.
