We listened to what you had to say.
We have developed a Draft Domestic Animal Management Plan using your feedback (see ‘Previous Consultation’ tab below), data from the last DAMP and the results of this.
Now it's your turn again. There are only two things we need to know, but best to have a read of the draft first.
Have your say
Council was seeking input from both pet owners and people without pets to help guide our animal management services over the next four years.
Your feedback and suggestions will assist in the creation of the new Domestic Animal Management Plan 2022–2025 (DAMP), which will guide the animal management team to continue its great work. The plan will outline community education and enforcement initiatives relating to emergency services, responsible pet ownership, animal welfare, dog attacks, dangerous dogs, puppy farms, wandering cats and dogs, officer training, and the Shepparton Animal Shelter.
